Guru Peyarchi Special - Jupiter as Putrakarakan

No matter how much wealth, property, or luxury we possess, does life feel complete without the joy of a child? Astrological wisdom tells us that it does not.

To truly enjoy and experience the wealth and comforts we acquire, the presence of children (progeny) is vital. Because Jupiter is the planet that bestows this essential blessing, he is known as the Putrakarakan.

According to the Kala Purusha horoscope, Jupiter is the lord of the 9th house (Bhagya Sthana), representing fortune.

However, an individual's ultimate fortune is not merely material possessions, but the fortune of progeny—the Putra Sthana (5th house). Thus, Jupiter's role is critical in bridging wealth and its meaningful enjoyment.

According to the Vakiya Panchangam, Lord Jupiter transitions from Gemini to his exaltation sign, Cancer, on May 26, 2026.

According to the Thirukanitha Panchangam, the transition takes place on June 2, 2026.

In Cancer, Lord Jupiter attains his peak strength (exaltation), which brings powerful benefic energies and blessings to devotees.

On this transition day, visiting temples and offering prayers to Lord Jupiter is highly recommended for all 12 zodiac signs to ensure progress in life.

While certain signs may need specific remedial measures (pariharams), participating in transit prayers benefits everyone.
